This post below in the meme, is going around social media, and it bothers me for many reasons, first and foremost, you SHOULD know what you put into or onto your body, your food, medications, beauty products, soaps, shampoos deodorants, etc. Many will end up sick simply from putting things into or onto their body because they are toxic.
What rubs me wrong here, is the blatant in your face “It does not matter what I put into or onto my body.” It DOES matter, it matters greatly. Why else would I be talking about quality of the foods you eat, removing toxins in your skincare products, make-up, shampoos, deodorants, removing fluoride from your toothpaste and water? Because these things HARM you and you have to seek out clean products, food etc. to regain your health and maintain your health. That being said, I am an American and I am for medical freedom of choice. I am absolutely NOT anti-vaccine; I AM for freedom of choice, and I am for NATURAL IMMUNITY being recognized as just as good (or better) than a vaccine.
So, let’s break this down:
1. “I’m fully vaccinated and, no, I don’t really know what’s in it – neither this vaccine, the ones I had as a child, nor in the Big Mac, or in hot dogs, or in other treatments…whether it’s for cancer, AIDS, the one for polyarthritis, or vaccines for infants or children.”
I will delve some into the vaccine later, but since food for health is my thing, I will start with that. Just as an example, let’s look at that Big Mac you do not know the ingredients in:
The Bun:
Ingredients: Enriched Flour (Bleached Wheat Flour, Malted Barley Flour, Niacin, Reduced Iron, Thiamin Mononitrate, Riboflavin, Folic Acid), Water, High Fructose Corn Syrup and/or Sugar, Yeast, Soybean Oil and/or Canola Oil, Contains 2% or Less: Salt, Wheat Gluten, Calcium Sulfate, Calcium Carbonate, Ammonium Sulfate, Ammonium Chloride, Dough Conditioners (May Contain One or More of: Sodium Stearoyl Lactylate, DATEM, Ascorbic Acid, Azodicarbonamide, Mono and Diglycerides, Ethoxylated Monoglycerides, Monocalcium Phosphate, Enzymes, Guar Gum, Calcium Peroxide), Sorbic Acid, Calcium Propionate and/or Sodium Propionate (Preservatives), Soy Lecithin, Sesame Seed.
CONTAINS: WHEAT AND SOY LECITHIN.
The American Cheese product:
Ingredients: Milk, Cream, Water, Cheese Culture, Sodium Citrate, Contains 2% or Less of: Salt, Citric Acid, Sodium Phosphate, Sorbic Acid (Preservative), Lactic Acid, Acetic Acid, Enzymes, Sodium Pyrophosphate, Natural Flavor (Dairy Source), Color Added, Soy Lecithin (Added for Slice Separation). CONTAINS: MILK AND SOY LECITHIN
The Special Big Mac Sauce:
Ingredients: Soybean Oil, Pickle Relish (Diced Pickles, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Sugar, Vinegar, Corn Syrup, Salt, Calcium Chloride, Xanthan Gum, Potassium Sorbate [Preservative], Spice Extractives, Polysorbate 80), Distilled Vinegar, Water, Egg Yolks, High Fructose Corn Syrup, Onion Powder, Mustard Seed, Salt, Spices, Propylene Glycol Alginate, Sodium Benzoate (Preservative), Mustard Bran, Sugar, Garlic Powder, Vegetable Protein (Hydrolyzed Corn, Soy and Wheat), Caramel Color, Extractives of Paprika, Soy Lecithin, Turmeric (Color), Calcium Disodium EDTA (Protect Flavor).
CONTAINS: WHEAT, EGG AND SOY.
The Beef Patty:
Ingredients: 100% Pure USDA Inspected Beef; No Fillers, No Extenders.
Prepared with Grill Seasoning (Salt, Black Pepper).
Doesn’t sound so bad? Well for one, ALL beef in the US has to be USDA inspected, otherwise it would be illegal! The fact they market their beef as “100% pure” actually means nothing. It’s like claiming their pickles are made out of 100% pickle! It may or may not be pure and legally doesn’t need to include the chemicals/toxins used in the processing of the meat. The quality of the beef is still a great question because some sources say that the beef of the McDonald’s hamburgers come from the CAFO (concentrated agricultural feeding operation) cows which are the sick cows and their meat can make you sick too. All smoke and mirrors! Let’s keep going…
The pickles:
Ingredients: Cucumbers, Water, Distilled Vinegar, Salt, Calcium Chloride, Alum, Potassium Sorbate (Preservative), Natural Flavors (Plant Source), Polysorbate 80, Extractives of Turmeric (Color).
The lettuce and onions:
Certainly not organic!
That was WAY more ingredients than a hamburger on a bun should have… That was a FULL page of ingredients for ONE Big Mac! I can assure you the “Beef Patti” is not grass fed, pasture raised or without antibiotics and why do they need to add color and “natural flavors” to the pickles?!
Let’s talk about hot dogs. Not all hot dogs are made the same, and like ANY food you eat, you should become familiar with the ingredients in them and what they can do to you and your family.
I am using Ball Park brand hot dogs as an example of ones you would NOT want to eat here:
Ingredients: Mechanically Separated Chicken, Pork, Water, Corn Syrup, Potassium Lactate, Contains 2% Or Less: Salt, Sodium Phosphate, Natural Flavor, Beef Stock, Sodium Diacetate, Sodium Erythorbate, Maltodextrin, Paprika Extract, Sodium Nitrite.
Mechanically separated chicken: According to the USDA, mechanically separated chicken “is a paste-like and batter-like poultry product produced by forcing bones with attached edible tissue through a sieve or similar device under high pressure to separate bone from the edible tissue.” In other words, the waste products of the chicken.
Corn Syrup: Corn syrup is linked to cancer, fatty liver, liver stress, increased cholesterol levels (remember, the issues with cholesterol is NOT FAT, it is PROCESSED SUGARS), Diabetes, high blood pressure, heart disease, leaky gut syndrome and increased mercury intake.
Potassium lactate: Because it inhibits mold and fungus growth, potassium lactate is a commonly-used preservative in hot dogs and deli meats. You might see sodium lactate on other hot dog ingredient lists, as well. That’s a type of salt added to food to extend shelf life and inhibit the growth of pathogens in meat. NOT sea salt or Pink Himalayan salt though!
Natural Flavor: Don’t be fooled by the word ‘natural’ as these flavors may be extracted via toxic chemicals that are not present on the food label. Natural Flavor can also contain gluten.
Sodium diacetate: This battles the pathogens introduced by unscrupulous farming practices. These are antibiotics. PLEASE do not support farms that use unscrupulous farming practices!
Sodium Erythorbate: Sodium Erythorbatre is an additive and is a synthetic variation of ascorbic acid. Ascorbic Acid is NOT vitamin C! Ascorbic Acid is just one of many nutrients in the vitamin C molecule.; Ascorbic Acid is pro-oxidant vs anti-oxidant; Ascorbic Acid works as a drug, anti-viral, anti-bacterial and possibly anti-cancer, short term use may be beneficial; Ascorbic Acid DEPLETES vitamin C! It competes for the binding sites for vitamin C on our cells, causing the real vitamin C to be excreted in urine; Ascorbic Acid makes the symptoms of vitamin C deficiency worse. Avoid vitamin C deficiency (scurvy) by using only whole food vitamin C supplements and foods instead.
Maltodextrin: Maltodextrin is an artificial sugar that is often used as an additive or thickening agent in various foods. Side effects that can happen are high blood sugar, allergic reactions, and gastrointestinal reactions, among others.
Sodium Nitrate: Sodium nitrate is a food preservative used to maintain artificial flavors, create appealing colors, and add flavor to processed meats like hot dogs. The World Health Organization (WHO) has declared Sodium nitrate as a ‘probable’ carcinogen. The trouble is, once ingested, nitrites can bond with amines to form cancer-causing nitrosamines.
Does this mean you cannot have hot dogs? NO!! It means you have to find better hot dogs to eat! The following brands are made from grass fed beef and do not contain the harmful ingredients in most hot dogs:
Applegate Natural Beef hot dogs, Teton Water Ranch’s uncured beef hot dogs, Organic Valley Uncured Organic 100% Grass-Fed Beef Hot Dogs, Fork In The Road Foods Honest Dogs and my all-time favorite that I buy, Strauss Grass Fed Beef Hot Dogs!
Check out the ingredients in Strauss Grass Fed Beef Hot Dogs:
Free Raised Grass Fed Beef, Water, Sea Salt, Celery Powder, Spices, Turbinado Sugar, Cherry Powder, Paprika, Garlic.
Even though I HAVE to take medication for my thyroid hormone replacement and for my Rheumatoid Arthritis, I researched if they deplete any nutrients and then monitored with labs to know how much to replace. I also researched the least damaging of them and discussed that with my doctor. It is OKAY to research your medications, vaccines and treatments!
2. “I also don’t know what’s in Ibuprofen, Paracetamol, or other meds, it just cures my headaches & my pains.”
If you have headaches and pains, they are SYMPTOMS of something else, those drugs are band-aids and should not be used on a regular basis. They do not come without side effects: strokes, kidney disease, heart attack, internal bleeding, ulcers, high potassium levels, liver issues, and so much more…
3. “I don’t know what’s in the ink for tattoos, vaping, Botox and fillers, or every ingredient in my soap or shampoo or even deodorants.” Heavy metals are often in tattoo ink that can cause a host of issues (You can get ink without). Heavy metal toxicity may damage functioning of lungs, brain, liver, kidneys and other organs.
Vape juice can contain toxins (You can get it without) Acetaldehyde and formaldehyde, These chemicals are known to cause cancer. Acrolein. A weed killer that can cause irreversible lung damage. Benzene A compound found in car exhaust. Long-term exposure may cause blood problems and cancer of blood-forming organs, such as leukemia. Cadmium Toxic metal that increases the risk of breathing problems such as chronic obstructive lung disease and emphysema. It’s also found in traditional cigarettes. Diacetyl Chemical compound used to give food a buttery flavor. Studies link inhaling it to lung disease called bronchiolitis obliterans, also known as “popcorn lung.” Diethylene glycol Clear odorless liquid with a sweet taste typically found in industrial products such as antifreeze. It’s used as a base in e-liquids. It’s toxic and is linked to lung disease. Nickel, tin, lead and other heavy metals Heavy metal toxicity may damage functioning of lungs, brain, liver, kidneys and other organs. Propylene glycol A clear, odorless liquid that’s used as antifreeze and a food addictive. It’s used as a base in e-liquids. It turns to vapor when heated but may produce propylene oxide, a known carcinogen.
Botox may be the better option than fillers as you can easily take things to detox the botulinum toxin.
Soap, Shampoos, deodorants, and make-up all have potential toxins and endocrine disrupters (and they ALL can be bought non-toxic). Some toxins in them: Sodium lauryl sulfate, Parabens, Formaldehyde, Diethanolamine, Coal tar, Synthetic fragrances, Triclosan, Phthalates, Butane and Isobutane and Aluminum.
4. “I don’t know the long-term effect of mobile phone use or whether or not that restaurant I just ate at REALLY used clean foods and washed their hands.”
Mobile phone damage is being studied, and its use should be limited, due to the studies finds on brain tumors, here is one:
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC4350886/
If you are not positive that the restaurant you are going to, is using clean foods that they advertise or that their employees are washing their hands, you should NOT be eating there! If you suspect they did not wash their hands before handling food, they should be reported to the Health Department immediately!
- “In short… There’s a lot of things I don’t know and never will… I just know one thing: life is short, very short, and I still want to do something other than just going to work every day or staying locked in my home. I still want to travel and hug people without fear and find a little feeling of life “before”.
You can STILL live your life, travel, hug people and go to work, I really wish people would not allow themselves to be fearmongered into an alternate reality. Please, eat clean foods, get 8 hours of sleep, stay hydrated, make sure your vitamins and minerals are balanced, use proper handwashing and sanitary practices.
6. “As a child and as an adult I’ve been vaccinated for mumps, measles, rubella, polio, chicken pox, and quite a few others; my parents and I trusted the science and never had to suffer through or transmit any of said diseases.”
I too was vaccinated against many of those (I had the chicken pox and there was no vaccine for it then, I also had the Smallpox vaccine). Science shows that we need long term studies on the effects of vaccines and that we need a control group who is not vaccinated. The studies for the current vaccines that came out in 2020 have no control group and have only been used for adults, for a year. They have begun vaccinating children in the past 6 months, with no studies on the long-term effect on them. Children have the lowest risk of infection.
“Dr. Steven Goodman,a clinical trials specialist at Stanford University, says losing those control groups makes it more difficult to answer some important questions about COVID-19 vaccines.
“We don’t know how long protections lasts,” he says. “We don’t know efficacy against variants — for which we definitely need a good control arm — and we also don’t know if there are any differences in any of these parameters by age or race or infirmity.”
It has already been shown that those who had Covid-19 are naturally immune:

Linked below are 141 studies on Natural Acquired Immunity to Covid-19:

I’m vaccinated, not to please the government but:
7. * “To not die from Covid-19.”
Depending on your age, the risk of death is very small to almost nothing. “For all these reasons, reported infection fatality rates have varied. To get a better estimate, Brazeau and his team looked at 175 studies, finding just 10 they regarded as reliable. They adjusted for confounding factors and calculated the death rate for each age group, including 0 per cent for under 4s, less than 0.1 per cent for people under 40, 0.36 per cent if 50 to 54, 2.17 if 70 to 74, 5 per cent if 80 to 84 and 16 per cent for those over 90.”
https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC7834220/
8. * “To NOT clutter a hospital bed if I get sick.”
I am not finding ANY reliable scientific data that any of the states hospitals are overrun and cannot handle Covid-19 cases (or any other health issues) at this time, vaccinated or unvaccinated. The Unites States is 67% vaccinated as of November 17, 2021 (38.51% fully vaccinated and 28.49% partially vaccinated)
https://ourworldindata.org/covid-vaccinations
9. * “To hug my loved ones.”
I have hugged my loved ones all of my life and will not stop now! Obviously if people are sick, precautions should be taken for the time period they are sick. Personal hygiene is important at ALL times, not simply with Covid-19. Being vaccinated does not stop your ability to spread the virus. “People inoculated against Covid-19 are just as likely to spread the delta variant of the virus to contacts in their household as those who haven’t had shots, according to new research.”
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(21)00648-4/fulltext
10. * “To not have to do PCR or antigenic tests to go out dancing, go to a restaurant, go on holidays and many more things to come…”
This absolutely frightens me, and it should you as well. This goes against your freedoms and may not stop here. Judge Kurt Engelhardt wrote about these mandates: “It’s in the public’s interest, to protect “our constitutional structure” and “the liberty of individuals to make intensely personal decisions according to their own convictions — even, or perhaps particularly, when those decisions frustrate government officials.”
https://www.ca5.uscourts.gov/opinions/pub/21/21-60845-CV0.pdf
11. * “To live my life.”
Why would you not be living your life? I have lived my life every single day since this all began. Again, obviously if people are sick, precautions should be taken for the time period they are sick.
12. * “To have kids go back to school and play sports.”
“If we look at all hospital admissions reported by the NICE Foundation between 1 January and 16 November 2021, 0.7% were younger than 4 years old. 0.1% were aged 4-11 years and 0.2% were aged 12-17 years. The vast majority (99.0%) of all people admitted to hospital with COVID-19 were aged 18 years or older.”
https://www.rivm.nl/en/coronavirus-covid-19/children-and-covid-19
13. * “For Covid-19 to be an old memory.”
Covid-19 is a virus, and one that will likely be around for a very long time in some form or another. The WHO has stated this many times, the most recent being November 12, 2021 at their press conference. On the bright note, with Omicron variant we are seeing what we see in viruses, multiple mutations and then it weakens. While Omicron they say is more contagious, its symptoms of extremely mild.
https://www.who.int/emergencies/diseases/novel-coronavirus-2019
14. * “To protect us. (ALL OF US).”
And again, I give you “People inoculated against Covid-19 are just as likely to spread the Delta variant of the virus to contacts in their household as those who haven’t had shots, according to new research”
https://www.thelancet.com/journals/laninf/article/PIIS1473-3099(21)00648-4/fulltext
I got Covid-19 from a non-vaccinated family member who got it from a vaccinated coworker. My first symptoms were Thanksgiving night of 2021, and I was off work for the holiday that Friday, Saturday and Sunday. I worked the whole rest of the time I had Covid-19, granted from home, but that was also the ONLY time I stayed at home in the past 2 years. I am also immune compromised on Biologics for my Rheumatoid Arthritis. I now know I have antibodies to this virus and continue to see no need to get the vaccination for me, I did discuss this with my doctor, and we are in agreement. This is NOT telling you what to do with vaccination, that is between you and your doctor, this is to tell you it DOES matter what you put into your body for food and it DOES matter what condition your body is in, should you get ANY virus.
PLEASE pay attention to what you put into your body, there is zero excuse in this day and age where you can look things up on the internet. This is the only body you get, this is your life, treasure it, take care of it, know what you put into or on it! Being healthy, eating healthy, having your vitamins, minerals optimal, your hormones optimal, all of this helps your own immune system to be able to do what it was designed to do.
This months recipe is Pork Braised in Whiskey
This is probably my most favorite way to serve pork! It DOES have brown sugar in it, so a processed sugar. Having this a couple times a year is not as big a deal, if processed sugar is not normally a part of your life! It is delicious served with soaked brown rice (Rice that has been soaked 24 hours to remove the phytonutrients that block absorption of the nutrients) or boiled potatoes. AMAZING left over!
Serves 6-8 people
Ingredients:
2–3-pound boneless pork loin
½ a cup of Dijon mustard (or stone ground, I do whatever I grab out of the fridge!)
2/3 cup brown sugar
1 Tbsp. bacon fat
1/3 cup Whiskey
1 cup chicken broth
Salt (to taste)
Pepper (to taste)
½ Tsp. Thyme
½ Tsp. Sage
½ Tbsp. Parsley
Coat pork roast with mustard then roll in brown sugar.
Melt the bacon fat in a Dutch oven, add the roast and brown all sides for 10-15 minutes, watching carefully the sugar does not burn.
Pour over 1/3 cup of whiskey, 1 cup of chicken broth cover and braise in 375-degree oven for 45 minutes.
Lower heat to 350 degrees.
Pull Dutch oven out and add salt, pepper, thyme, sage, and parsley and put back into the oven for 45 minutes. (Watch to see if the liquid is getting low, add more chicken broth if necessary)
To serve hot:
Strain cooking liquid
Remove fat
Return liquid to pot to boil
Add 1/3 cup Bourbon and deglaze
Correct seasonings as necessary
To serve cold:
Deglaze the cooking liquid with ½ a cup of chicken stock
Correct seasoning as needed and cool
Slice the roast, slice the jelled sauce, and surround the pork with it, decorate with watercress.
